Possible Leak

Been in the house throughout the cold spell and had no problems. Today I went out the back to the bins and noticed the path was wet. Moved away the bins and it's wet from the house to the end of the path and the grass is pretty spongy and about a metre across the path. There's an outside tap on the wall but that's fine. Ripped out the press under the sink and found a leak in the dishwasher outlet where a seal perished. It is now replaced but was dribbling out water and nothing that would soak through a wall. We have a battened wooden floor in the kitchen so I didnt notice a problem underfoot.

We have an external boiler that sits on the path with the pipework for that are running under it but not right beside the house. Does the floor or path need to come up?

Is you're heating pressurised? If so, is there a constant drop in pressure all the time,

Alternatively if its an open system does it keep filling the header tank? Just some ways to identify a leak in the heating systems if there is one.
