DTT picture/sound sync issues?

    I'm getting pictures and sound out of sync on my DTT signal on all channels. Anyone getting a similar issue or know of a solution? I'm using the original Humax DTT trial set top box, based in Co Louth. Problem is very annoying... clear picture but sound can be a few seconds off.

    The solution is to get rid of the humax 2000T box. They cant cope.

    If you hold down the mute button for 2/3 secs you get a jog bar which will allow you resync slightly.

    Only a temp solution. The boxes are old 2006/7, so you should be thinking of getting a new one, probably a dvb-t2 box if you are close to the border, you will get Freeview HD from North next year as well as the Irish DTT stations. They are as low as 40 sterling. Make sure it says "Freeview HD".

    Thanks for the tip on the Humax "hidden feature". Will have a look at getting a new STB for the Irish channels, already have a Humax Freesat box on which I get the UK FTA channels so was hoping not to have to spend too much. £40 sounds reasonable!

    I'm having the same problem on an Edision Argus Mini 2 in 1 combo box. There is a very slight but annoying delay between the picture and the sound on any of the HD channels. It's occurring on RTE2 HD via DTT and BBC1 HD and ITV1 HD via satellite.
    Any suggestions on how to overcome this would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Market_Garden, I'm also getting the out of sync problem, but only with RTE 2 HD, and not all of the time. As far as I can remember, BBC HD etc. seem to be fine, but will check again tonight. Haven't found a way around it yet. Anyone any clues?
