Well folks got to play full 18 holes today on full greens for the first time since the snow etc.. Have say it was good to get out. Was out with the father who is off 12 now but was a very handy golfer in his time off 7 when age wasn't against him as is now:D:D:D. Any way was hitting my 4 iron and 3 wood from left to right a lot lately and wasn't happy at all so said it to him and he said to me to line up to hit the shot and straight away he noticed the face was open. So he held the club for me when i had a look and i was surprised it was a good bit open. Thing is in my eyes when setting up it seemed to be straight even a bit closed but obviously wasnt. So have it sorted now (i hope) so will be interesting to try out next time. Good when things like that are spotted.. Anyone ever have same problem etc..

That's why lessons are good as a trained eye will spot the errors in your setup.

Lots of people stand open or have their hands level or behind the clubface.

only ever got 1 lesson in my life and that was last year for my driving as i was geting worse. Learned to play from a young age and learned myself.. But we know ourselves that every week its something different we try to fix. Hopefully i can get it all to work all in 1 day to post a fab score. Captains prize would do..:) Nice to know what was wrong though. Need start bringing note pad with me and writing little notes down to remind me of things..
