Job opportunities after maths degree

    Hi,

I'm a final year student of maths in UL due to graduate(hopefully) in May with a first class honours degree. At the moment I really don't know where I stand where I'm finding it so difficult to find an opportunity that I really want to work on. Lots of graduate programmes in the finance sector have cropped up as well as lots of IT roles but I would really like to get into science or engineering but I don't particularly want to go on and do a postgrad to be qualified enough. I have some solid work experience but this is primarily finance based.

If anyone knows of any graduate schemes within science or industry that would be willing to take maths students I'd much appreciate it. In the meantime I'm just giving everything a chance and hoping for the best! Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Thanks a lot.
