I am considering buying an iphone 4. Has anyone had any problems with the phone?

that was blown out of proportion, i've never had a problem with mine, unless ur one of the lucky few that got the iphone on release day(like me:D)
ya might not get one until september or october

I wonder what the iPhone 5 will bring to the table. A better battery is the only thing I can really think of...
Oh and a SD card slot!!

i doubt they will put an sd card in it, what use would it be, i dont know any other phone that has 32gb internal memory, maybe they will increase the memory

Well if it has 64gb I'd be happy. They rip people off for an extra 100euro already though for the 32gb over the 16gb iPhone 4. A 32gb SD card is only about 15euro.

The flash memory in the iphone is way faster than those SD cards...try a large copy to both and you'll see the iphone wins by a mile.
For a equivelant SD card speed you'll paid about €40 or so..but still €100 is taking the piss

There is a problem went in to galway city today to get one, can't get one for love nor money. i was told in one shop they won't have them till mid january!

I wouldn't be surprised if the released iTunes cloud streaming, and only had 8gb model phones. Flash memory is expensive!

you'd nearly be as well off to wait for iPhone 5 in the summer, hopefully it will have an sd card slot, but if you really want the 4 its a great phone, i have no reception issues and i live in the middle of nowhere

sure Apple themselves have not released the date yet for the iphone5! The only thing to be released is the cheep chinese versoin which is an android.

it's not all about speed, NFC will become the way we pay for things in the near future, couple of the banks in England already have this technology in their debit/credit cards.

imagine buying your luas/bus/rail tickets using NFC and then validating your journey using your phone. it certainly looks cool, doubtful it will take off in ireland though considering we are always about 10 years behind the rest of the world with technology like this.


oh and also i was being a little bit sarcastic with the whole wait for iphone 5 angle.

IP5 wont hit Ireland until at least September, same as every other iPhone evry year.

the white iphone 4 wasnt released, thats one with a vinyl cover over it, ive seen the kits for doing it
