Wildfire Problem win 2.3 Launcher

    Hi all,

    I got a Htc Wildfrie for xmas and really like it so far.
    I tried to install the 2.3 launcher from the Android Market however and now it wont turn on. It gets to the Htc screen but then it freezes.

    I had to restart it as if froze when I selected the 2.3 launcher to perform an action.

    Is there a way to boot into a safe mode and uninstall the offending app? Or any other way to get around the problem?

    As ever any help is gratefully appreciated.
