Black Ops and PS3 Issue

    Hi

    Noticed over the past day or two that when I go to start a game off Black Opps it freezes at the loading menu just before the match starts. (happened twice)

    When this happens I've no choice but to quit from the game however when I do that the console restarts it's self for no reason what so ever.

    I know that the game does have its faults (serious ones which have still to be fixed by the developers :rolleyes: ) but this seem odd and I have a feeling that its only going to get worse and break my playstation one day. :mad:

    Any help ?

    any scratches on the disk?

    Maybe give the disk a clean or try it on another ps3

    That happened me a few weeks ago and I have'nt seen it since. I put it down to server load. The only way around it was to quit the game fully and go back in. Also happened on medal of honour around the same time. Thought my 40Gb launch console was kicking the bucket. Not a bother since those incidents and I changed nothing.

    The was a little smudge on the the disc but I doubt it was the cause, just a matter of waiting to see if it happens again.

    Black Ops on the PS3 is just broken, has been since day one, we bitch about it all the time on the CoD forum, its crashed my ps3 a bunch of times, Treyarch released a faulty product, simple as.

    I used to lurk over on the COD forum in the past, especially when Black Ops was released but when I got GT5 I stopped playing COD for about 4 weeks and with that never visited the COD forum again up until a few days ago, so I'm not really up to date on what was fixed and so on.

    I don't even know whether it has being done or not but I think there needs to be a sticky thread over there that needs to be updated when the fixes are released and locked by the Mods until the next relevant update.

    But anyway its become obvious to me that not much has being done at all and its coming up to two months now since it was released, makes yea think do they give a sh!t ? They've made there few million quid. :rolleyes:
