Hi I need to get new Tyres for a 05 mazda 3.
probably 2 front ones, the back seem fine for another while.
Currently have UniRoyale on them, came with the car.

I've rang a few places, got different quotes and various brands.
No idea whats best to go with.
IM not an expert and dont drive huge mileage but I still want to but a good quality tyre on for all weather I guess.

    Any suggestions/recommendations?
I suppose my budet would be max e160 for the pair
    they are 195 65 R15
    thanks

I had a few of these brands before and would recommend any of them:

All middle of the range tyres and should be fine on a Mazda 3.

PS. If you are buying online just factor in the cost of having them fitted locally too.

    thanks Bazz,
Are these available in outlets in Ireland?
those brands werent mentioned when i rang a few places.
Im in the cork city and south tipp area.
Ideally I would like to get them fitted asap, and waiting for them to deliver and then fitted will take a little longer.
    thanks

They are common brands so I would suggest getting the goldenpages out and ring around. Stock of certain brands along with prices vary considerably from place to place. Just avoid the cheap Far Eastern crap brands like Wanli, Sunny, Triagles, etc that most tyre centres have plenty of in stock because the majority of motorists just want cheap tyres.

BTW if you are anywhere near Cahir in Co Tipp, I recommend giving Dalton Tyres a call: 052 7443865. I have used them in the past myself and found them good.

thanks, funny you should mention daltons, I rang them saturday but names they mentioned were federal, com?..something as budget ones and semperit, firestone and uniroyal in the mid range budget.

Might give them a buzz back to chaeck again.
    thanks

I put four Kormorans on the wifes Mazda 3 a few months ago. 60 euro each iirc. Budget tyres but they seem fine to me. Can't remember the name of the place but it's pretty much straight across from harvey norman on kindle road.

firstly how much do you expect / want to spend we can recommend tyres based on that ,

uniroyal are a decent make and if thats what you have on it and you found them ok then maybe stick with them

or for less than 10 quid more per tyre these are Excellent tyres

never skimp on tyre and never buy the cheap ass chinese brands like Wanli , sunny , triangle, etc remember tyres are the only things that keep you on the road and they differ massively from brand to brand
