boards mods long term users

ok im fairly new to boards and in the space of just a few days it has become apparent that no one is here to help anyone else, everytime ive posted somthing up giving helpul advice its immediately pick at and pulled apart with a string of contradictory smart comments, if people dont wanna help then just keep your comments to yourself, also a lot of you mods seem fairly fast to ban, what are you not allowed to defend yourself against the longer term members ? if some one were to speak to me or contradict me the way they do here it would be a slap in the mouth they would be getting not a smart comment in return, so rater than reading the latter end of a thread where we are just arguing why not go back to the beginning and see why it started ?

now wait for it...........first comment.... what a pile of ****..........then the mods colm your banned..............thread closed

Not sure what matter your reffering to OP but genuinely, if you are having a real problem, I have found many posters here rising to the occasion and been outstanding in their efforts to help.
(And I speak from experience)

Of course there will always be the messers, thats life - the trick is to ignore them (not easy sometimes I full admit) and go with the good ones.

You'll find most forums to be helpful colm1234, AH just happens to be full of retards who like to weigh in with their "funny" comment so everyone will know what a ledge they are (not refering to everyone who posts in AH, before someone gets their knickers in a twist). If you have a specific interest or query there are a load of more specialised forums you can post in where helpful discussion is welcomed and there's a lower tolerance for eejits.

Ya gotta go with the ebb and flow in AH OP. One day a poster in AH can be full of wisecracks and the next day a rock of sense and advice. In fact this can quite often occur within the same thread.
