2010 SCR Challenge Final Update!!

Here it is, the final SCR Challenge table for 2010. The most complicated table I've done so I hope it works! There were a couple of updates past the deadline so sorry folks but Jan 1 - Dec 31 only inclusive.

Well done to all who participated and good luck with the 2011 SCR Challenge. I hope it serves as a useful tool, a reference or just a bit of fun en route to you achiveing your goals

504,400mts swam in 2010 :eek:
12.3% of the whole challenge total :eek:
252% of the gold target
10th Overall

Cycling: cunavalos
10,550kms cycled in 2010 :eek:
9.7% of the whole challenge total!
256% of the gold target
17th Overall

Running: TFBubendorfer
4,731kms run in 2010 :eek:
11.5% of the challenge total!
230% of the gold target achieved
7th Overall

Mr SCR Challenge Average (based on all regular posters)
Swam 133,629mts
134% of the green target
13th overall
However if you take interested out of it, he slips to 14th and averages 120,900mts approx

Cycled 3426kms
172% of the green target
14th overall
Taking cunavalos out of the equation drops Mr Average to 15th and 3200kms approx

Ran 1301km
130% of the green target
13th Overall
However taking TFB out of the picture drops Mr Average a whopping 3 places to 16th and a 1187kms average approx

So that gives you an idea of what Mr Average did. Interesting that the swim and run targets are statistically spot on but the cycle target is a bit soft. So for 2011 the green cycling mark is the easiest target according to Mr Average

Totals
Swimming: 4,112,580mts = 12 times the length of the Shannon!
Cycling: 105,260kms = 2.6 times the circumference of the earth!
Running: 40,152kms = Just 951 Marathons

Targets
SCR 63.3% of participants hit a target of some sort
SCR 31.8% of participants hit a gold target
1000mile Challenege 35.9% hit the target (just for some perspective

Just in case anyone put off by the challenge, while obviously Tri related and triathletes will probably battle it out for the year, its open to all. If you only run then the 1000 thread may be enough, but if you swim and/or cycle feel free to log on the SCR challenge 2011

Interesting breakdowns for sure. Not sure if I'll go to HIM distance in 2011 - may focus on the marathon instead. We'll see after Rotterdam.
