What do you think would happen after a month of everything to do with the Internet went down without warning. I'm talking email, skype, facebook, everything that is electronically communicated apart from telephones.

I've still got a decent stash of porn mags hidden, so I'm safe on that front.

Imagine the other consequences though ...

Wailing and gnashing of teeth. It is probably the one piece of infrastructure I couldn't cope without, everything else you can find a way around eventually such as water and electricity.

We'll have to settle for poking random people in the street, shouting out our status updates, lifting up cats and stapling badly spelled captions on to them and actually doing proper research in a library instead of googling everything.

    having to buy newspapers ...

How would you do that? Where would you get the money? And where would the news companies get their information? And how would they print the papers?

I'm pretty sure people could buy newspapers before the Internet, I've even seen them in old movies ;-)

All the energy I put into fapping would be directed to other areas and so no doubt I would become a millionaire or something.

God, I still hope it never it happens though.

But then once the month is over and the internet is back, all your money will be dwindled away on those paid porno sites.

There would be such a catastrophe on Earth that it would dwarf that which exterminated the dinosaurs 64 millions years ago. Mankind could cease to exist.

People would spend large amounts of time standing in a queuet to get money out of the bank, and then spend large amounts of time standing in a queue to pay bills.

i have Books and annuals that i never really got to Read, i spend a lot of time on the internet its just so addictive when you get into it, And it just takes over alot of spare time, so maybe it can be turned off for a day or 2, i think it wouldnt be the worst idea, Get people to read books that they never got time to read. Only around 10 years ago, Kids and most teenagers would be sitting in front of the tv With the whole family, watching a show, Thats what i was doing anyway, The internet wasnt as popular then, and sitting at the table eating dinner. 10 Years on its different These days young kids to old pensioners use A Laptop,Computer,Ipod,PSP, Anything That can acsess the internet, and i rarely see Familys sitting down watching TV Anymore its quite sad. But thats the reality today. Computers and internet are the Future! And i think being turned off for 1 or 2 days isnt bad at all.

We'll say goodbye to all the people on the internet, that we don't really know and we'll never actually meet and start talking to the people we live next door to
