We are having an open day for new trainees on Sunday the 9th of Jan 2011. It starts at 2pm. It entitles new trainees to train for free on this day.

The school is located in Bray. Bus routes 45, 84, 145 all leave you directly outside the school and the DART service leaves you a 15min walk away.

It is open to males and females aged 16 and over.If you have any more questions about this open day e-mail info@fightfactoryprowrestling.com or just ask here.

Can you go have a peek? As many on this board it was always a dream to give wrestling a go, but being 15st of fat I didn't really bother :D Would love to try out or whatever but well ya know :D

Of course you can come along and watch the session but really its not going to be extremely physically demanding. The open day is all about attracting new would-be wrestlers so its not going to be a gruelling bootcamp of any kind. I'd suggest bringing some training gear and getting involved afterall for most of the lads and hopefully lasses it'll be their first day too. It's just an introduction to Pro Wrestling so you'll be shown a few pieces from all the different aspects. There'll be a light warm up and stretch but that's needed and not too strenuous. If there is anything you're not comfortable doing nobody will insist on it.

If there are a few of you guys thinking about coming along to take part or even just to view why not organise between you to meet up beforehand as a group. This might spark a bit of interest with the shy guys who don't want to show up not knowing anyone. And it might save from people getting lost and stuff. If its a resolution of yours to try something new give it a shot. It's free and if you don't like it you're not obliged to come back.I'd encourage anyone who wants to at least try it once to come along on this particular day as it's the perfect opportunity to start on an even level with some other newbies.

Check out the Fight Factory Facebook page for more info and to chat with other people interested in heading to the open day.

For those of you looking for directions if you type: Dublin road Bray Co Dun Laoghaire into google maps it shows you exactly where your bus stop is on street view. Then the training school is just around the corner of the Coach Inn.

We would like to thank everyone who attended the open day at the Fight Factory yesterday. There was a great turnout of first timers who all did very well and were a great bunch of lads to work with. They got a great first taste of what pro wrestling is all about and hopefully this is just the beginning of an influx of new wrestlers in 2011. The regular trainees did very well to help the new lads and made us proud to see them progress as trainers as well as trainees. With head trainers Paddy Morrow, Phil Boyd, Justin Shape and a cameo appearence from NJPW star Fergal Devitt the camp proved to be a great success.
Remember training takes place every Sunday 2-6pm and wednesday 7-9pm for just 15euro per week. All are welcome why not come along and join the new blood.
