    Hi all

Can anyone recommend a company that transfers old VHS tapes
    to DVD digital format?

I think this should be a sticky in this forum, would stop a lot of newbies
(like me) coming in here and wrecking your heads. :)

    Thanks

I have heard about a company based in Kildare :

    D-Digital http://www.d-digital.net/ddigital_005.htm

    Has anyone used them?

Hi barneysplash, I wouldn't waste your money just do it yourself.

For less than the price it costs you to get them converted you could buy a TV card for your PC & transfer them in your own time :)

You can just link a DVD recorder to your VHS player and record them in the same way that you would record from TV. Just hit play on the VHS and rec on the DVD recorder. It's the quick and easy way to do it. N
