Dublin Run

Hey All,

I'm new to this part of Boards so pardon me if I'm posting in the wrong area.

Basically, I'm looking to do a run sometime in the near future for MS Ireland. My uncle suffers from MS and I'm trying to raise a bit of money/awareness for this charity and wanted to do a run. I will part-taking in the Adidas series (5k, 10k and half marathon) towards the end of 2011 but was hoping to get in one or two earlier on in the year.

Could somebody please point me in the direction to where I might find one in the coming months. I've tried runireland.com but nothing in the Dublin area.

Try www.bhaa.ie . They have loadsa runs in the Dublin area that range from 5km to 10km. Also www.imra.ie if ya want to do some mountain races though these may be tough on the body if youre not used to running yet. Best of luck!

Keep an eye on the Events thread in A/R/T which tends to list and discuss on up and coming events. Good luck with your endeavours. If you are fundraising you might want to look up the likes of www.mycharity.ie which is a useful tool for collecting funds without the hassle of collecting hard cash.
If you are new to running then start small. Build your stamina gradually.
