KJW P226 Barrel query

    Hi guys,

I've got a KJ Works SIG P226, which I'm loving, fantastic pistol. My version is the one that has a mounting for a silencer, and I've been thinking about messing around with it.

So here's what I'm wondering: Is there a tightbore barrel I could get that would fit my P226 that would extend out past what I've currently got (that I could then hide with a silencer)? Would putting a longer, tightbore inner barrel actually improve the accuracy much, and would it affect the FPS significantly?

The current barrel in the pistol seems to be about 85mm, my thinking is with a silencer to hide it I could maybe install something nearly twice that length, I just have no idea what barrels work in what pistols.

    Thanks for any input!

If you install a tightbore barrel, especially a longer one, then the FPS will increase, so just be careful/watchful that it doesn't go over the limit.

A longer barrel will increase accuracy and consistency of your shots. The tighter barrel will also help this big time.

Hopup units are different on pistols, so you'll have to watch that they're compatible, unless you're fairly handy with modifications. The KJW is a direct clone of the TM, so any barrels that will fit that, will also fit the KJW :)

    Hope this helps

Cheers for the info Inari, I'll have a look out for some TM barrels and see if there's something suitable out there.
