    Hi folks,

Travelling to Barcelona for 2 nights in late Feb & as time is limited, trying to plan itinerary now to maximise available time there. Two queries then that I'd appreciate some assistance with. Firstly, most economic way to get from BCN airport to the city centre and secondly, any recommendation for a decent, clean & centrally located hotel? If any posters have tips on must do's (albeit with the short duration) either at night or during day, would also appreciate the insight. Thanks in advance, fmmc

I stayed in Hotel America, booked through Octopus. excellent location, close to metro, check it out on tripadvisor. Unless you have kids, don't bother with aquarium, not worth the time. Visit Picasso Museum, more to him than all the later stuff we are used to seeing. Fantastic market off the rambla with tapas bars inside. Gaudi park worth a visit, great outdoor escalator all the way up. Bit awkard to get there though if you go by metro. Metro is fantastic. Got taxi from airport, dont remember it being expensive. Have a good time, hope you get more advice from others.
