Ibiza Info Needed

Hi all 8 of us are thinking of going here for 10 day holiday was wondering whos the best place to book with and a place to stay like cheap and cheerful will do were going either july or aug thanks.

Well first off dont get a package hol, book your flights with Aerlingus, then your accom seperatly, we stayed in Central park aparments in san antonio, there right smack in the middle of everthing, very cheap, Music pumping all day at the pool (which is on the roof) all young crowd and serious criac in them.

thanks for the info thats great i checked from the 16th to 23rd of july its 140 for the aprtments and 314 for the flight which isnt bad, with ryan air its 223 so thats 363.00 for a week in ibizia in the middle of july which i must say is brillant, how do you get to the apartment from the airport tho?

You's can a taxi or a bus.

there's two types of taxi in ibiza, the normal legal white ones on the meter, which are very cheap prob 40quid to san an. But there like taxis in dublin on sat night, ull be waiting around ages for them.

when we got there we just wanted to get to san an soon as so we got a dodgy taxi, load's of these around, basically just normal locals given lifts in there car, no taxi lience or anything, and they can charge what they want but ya can bargain with them aswell, there was 8 of us charged 10er each (so ya can see the diff?!)

or the bus which cost €4, maybe an extra 10-15 mins journey time caz of all the stops, but defo the cheaper option.

hhhm not bad, see the 3 places were looking at are crete again or zakynthos or ibizia problem is 2 or 3 of em think its too expensive to go to ibizia for the clubbing and disco bars whats the price of going out like there?

Ye i can see were their coming, but Ibiza can be done on a budget, we went for 10 days, 8 lads, i brought €2000 and another lad brought 700 and the rest all between that. difference between ,mine and his hol and prob another two of them , i got to see all the big clubs, went to the big nights, were as they went to westend (main part in san were all the disco bars, smaller clubs are) every night did one big club out of the holiday.the drink is dirt cheap in we, you'd struggle to spend €60 on a night out there.
but then on the flip side the big clubs circa €50 a ticket, then ur money for a taxi there or bus, then drinks in there range from €10-12 bottle beer, and €7-10 for a bottle of water! (i spent €70 on water in Amnesia one night, ha)

bottom line we all had just as good of a holiday as any of us did, after been to many resorts, ie. tenerife, santa ponsa, ayia napa, for a summer hols ibiza blows the alot of them outa the water.

ya i see what you mean i rang few of them there and they have seemed to back out of it, they want crete again or zakynthos which i checked on that website you gave me for a week each person is only 80 euros but i cant find a place that flies to crete or zakynthos which is the hard bit still tho even if the flights were 300 plus 80 for apartment for the week that 380 for a holiday mid july which budget are chargin at 709 euro.
