    So will anyone be Watching the old TV Near 12am on new years night? Just out of intrest What do you watch? BBC Have fireworks, RTE Are a disgrace and show a Pile of crap. Which only 3 people in ireland Actully watch RTE. how do you celebrate new years eve, and watch on tv? if you actully watch tv acourse...

    Fork the tv. Watch the fireworks when it hits midnight. Much better.

    No - il be staring at the clock.
    Last year i went to a club and the DJ was a good 10 minutes late - ii hate being late! :)

    Were to poor to afford fireworks, also dublin never seems to have any firework displays New years night, if your expecting somethin good on RTE, Well good luck, rte are idiots, the worst national tv broadcaster in the world

    I don't think I've actually celebrate new years at midnight in years - every band/DJ I've ever seen has been a few minutes late.

    I like to treat is as simply another typical night. Nothing special at all about new years imo. The ONLY exception in my life I reckon was the year 2000.
