Are they any good for wavy-ish hair?? When I let my heavily layered hair dry naturally it goes kind of curly/wavy but I can't go out with dripping hair 90's style :) so would a diffuser be helpful?

I don't have one unfortunately, but my hair dresser always uses one on me when I go. It's great! He uses a curling serum or cream and winds my hair into big "twists", leaves to air dry for a while and then goes at it with the defuser. Puts handfuls on hair into it and dries, and then head upside down kind of job for volume!

I have one and I have to say it's fantastic. Much better than just a regular blowdry. My hair's not fully curly, more very wavy but when I use the diffuser it settles into curls as opposed to just frizz which seems to be all I can achieve with my hairdryer. My sister bought me a Remington hairdryer for Christmas last year with a diffuser attachment and another attachment for straight blow drying. It's great. :)

When I let my hair dry naturally it goes into lovely ringlets in places, then a bit wavy but the back falls kind of flat with a kink

I don't think my hair is wavy enough then as it sounds as if the diffuser just works with proper wavy/curly hair rather than creating it??
