Hey guys, not sure if this is the right section but I'll be in London next week and I just saw that Drake and J. Cole are performing on Friday and Saturday night. I checked Ticketmaster.co.uk but looks like they're all sold out.

I really want to go to this so I'm looking for a London equivalent to buy and sell or something, just somewhere where I can buy tickets off someone. The concert is in the HMV Hammersmith Appollo, not familiar with it myself but if I can't get tickets beforehand I'll chance my arm and try to get them off someone outside? Anyone have experience with the place or know where I might be able to get tickets?

Did you go to this gig? Being lurking for awhile here's my quick trip report. I went in Manchester Wednesday night amazing gig well worth the two days we had to spend in Manchester the way the the flights worked out.

It was on in a student union building real small intimate gig warm up DJ had mad skills then Cole did Lights please, Who dat, Blow up, Higher, Dollar and a dream, Grown simba, Welcome, Dead Presidents, Last call and more Drake came on and spat a verse(might give him another go after that he killed it)

But J cole is the man most favourite artist for a long time cant believe he doesn't have a bigger following his lyrics are insane his flow the beats he raps over on his tapes all top notch. Cant wait for his album so long as Jigga doesn't send him too pop which is unlikely in my book a five mics for sure.:D

Yeah mate went to the one in London on Saturday 8th Jan. Took a chance and waited to get tickets outside the gig a few hours beforehand, never had such a hard time getting tickets. Face value was £30, tickets were going outside for between £130-£150 EACH. There was no way I could spend that much, £70 was what we were willing to pay. We were told to come back right before the show so we went back half an hour before it was due to start, no one had tickets.

Eventually found a guy who saw we really wanted tickets, he was looking for £80 each but we got him down to £60. Got into the gig just in time for J. Cole.

Set list sounds more or less the same, Drake did a lot of his guest verses (Aston Martin Music, What's My Name, Young Money, etc) as well as a lot from the album and the So Far Gone mixtape. He started to perform 'Fireworks' and when the chorus came on Florence (of Florence and the Machine) appeared on stage and stood in for Alicia Keys.

I thought it was very well done, great atmosphere and both Drake and Cole absolutely killed it. A lot of highlights, good music - all in a really enjoyable gig. I was over in London for the weekend anyway, the concert was just a bonus but it would have been worth the trip to see the concert alone.

I really hope he comes over here next time he's touring.

Also completely agree with your views on J.Cole, an icon in the making. Better than 99% of rappers today and he hasn't even got an album to his name. Great lyricist, great performer, he will be an all time great, no question about it.

I cant thank your posts yet but would. 100% your bang on he will be the best of all time in my opinion.

Sweet you got tickets £30 face value is good, J Coles gig was £11.50 and Raekwon €25 coming up good value gigs all round now we just need more volume of artists coming here.
