My radio/cd player in octavia a blaupunt died today checked the fuse seems ok, is there something I may be overlooking ?:confused:

the radio has a fuse in the back of the head unit, but theres also a fuse in the cars main fusebox for it, did you check them both?

generally they are ten amp fuses (red in colour)

Thanks. Just checked the main fusebox. Do I have to remove the radio to check other fuse

unfortunately yes.

also, if your stereo had a detachable fascia (which most blaupunkts do) make sure its clicked in properly and that the contacts on both sides of it are clean.
