    Hi peeps!
Was wondering if ye could offer me some advice.
Really want to start to get fit in 2011 because I am over a stone overweight due to stupid fad diets that ive been on and off doing the past few years.
I really want to know though is it worth joining a gym or can i do exercise dvds at home..am really self conscious at the gym but should I just grin and bear it or are fitness dvds just as good? I bought that Kettleworx kettlebell and dvds this year which I find great for your glutes and legs but they dont seem to work my upper body for some reason.
So what should I do.. join the gym or buy those davina etc dvds that come this time of year?
Also was wondering seen as I want to change my diet habits,is it true that eating small meals every two hours is better than three big meals?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!:)

gym and smaller more frequent meals are better than a few big ass meals throughout the day for weightloss. The main thing is calorie intake.Lower your daily calories and exercise=smaller you.Simples!:D

Also a great idea is to read the stickies at the top of this forum, as well as the stickies at the top of the nutrition forum. This should clear the clutter and there's great info in there.

If I were you, I would go to the gym instead of working out at home. Of course, if money is a problem, there's nothing wrong with staying at home.

I feel it's easier to motivate myself in the gym. There are no distractions there, and you've paid to get in, so you might as well do the work.

Obviously, if you could do both it would be ideal.
