    oh right thought the panasonic was mpeg4 tv but not to worry ill bide my time so. lookign for an mpeg4 in or around the 300 mark

    Power city have the Saorview Certified Walked WP3211LCD 32 HD ready TV for 300 Euro. IMO It would be better than those two you listed.

    For a 50 Euro extra you'll get a Samsung which is 100% compatible with Saorview.

    Some Panasonic's have crappy firmware that don't work 100% with Soarview. There is a few threads about Panasonic/saorview troubles here.

    Panasonic page says - TV Features MPEG4 Tuner

    However, it's the MHEG5 Teletext you need to look out for. Basically, ask to see the set working. Ask to see RTE News Now, RTE2 which is HD and then, on RTE2 the Teletext.
