Operation recovery without back up disc.

Hi Lads hope someone can help me,I have a Sony Vaio VGN-CR290, the hardrive died due to a fall. I replaced the hardrive, then realised I dont have operating system backup discs. Any ideas to get me back up and running? Thanks.
