I was listening to RTÉ Radio 1 yesterday, Monday, afternoon and they had on one of the most enthralling documentaries I've heard on radio in a long time. I didn't even want to leave the car for the house in case I missed part of it.

It was about the Hurling Championship in 1998 and has some really poignant interviews, including with the ref who blew the whistle early in the Offaly-Clare semi-final, how he felt and how it affected his family. There was also some really moving stories from the Waterford-Clare match, with Colin Lynch talking about what happened him following it.

You can listen to it here: http://www.rte.ie/radio1/doconone/whofears.html

    Well done to RTÉ!

PS: The Clare-Waterford match in 1998 is available on YouTube:
