hi folks. firstly apologies if this is in the wrong place. i am after switching from o2 mobile b/b to 3. i was using a huawei e220 modem on o2, and am now using a b260a wifi router/modem thingy. since switching i cannot load zynga poker. can load other flash games but not that. if i change back to my e220 it loads ok. now the b260a is supposed to be faster, so anyone able to shed any light on this??. oh and yes i have disabled the firewall switch in my router settings.............

Its a known issue for users of that router on the 3 network using the 3internet APN

What happens to some (maybe all?) B260a users on the 3 network is that they can't use the 3internet APN which gives you an internet routable IP address all of your own while you connect. The 3ireland.ie APN which gives you an address on 3's private network works but connects via a Proxy server and NAT so prevents most online gameplaying. There also seems to be an SSL issue that might prevent you logging on to a web page using https with either APN so basically your on 3 so it either works or your screwed. 3 have been working on the problem for over 6 weeks now afaik. Its not a problem with the router but seems to be something 3 have done with their network.

Go back to using the e220 if you still have it, its easy to unlock and will work on the 3 network with a little effort + google.

Edit - More about the issue here in the Talk to 3 forum

Don't bump a thread, especially when it's at the top of the forum already, and don't be begging like a needy child.
