    Hi all,
Just wondering if there are any garages open tomorow 29th Dec in Clontarf, city center area.

I've a problem with my wipers not working and I have to drive to Galway on Wednesday.
    Thanks

Unlikely that any garages are open until Wednesday, perhaps a Quik Fit/Fastfit place would be open tomorrow and they could have a look at it for you?

Have you checked it's not just the linkages that have come off from trying to push excess snow off the windscreen?

Dunno about the garages but I would imagine the odd place would be open. What car is it ? Make, model and year ??

What is the problem ? A fuse or a loose nut on the arm may be the culprit. It may be a very easy fix so well worth posting exactly what the issue is and someone may be able to help you out :)

    Thanks for replies.

I can hear the motor working but no movement on the actual wipers.
Does that mean it's definitely not a fuse or could be?

    Thanks.

    Forgot to add.....it's a 98 Seat Cordoba.

Defo not a fuse so, could well be the linkage, have a peak at the bits visible, should be a big nut or two, they may well be loose :)

Don't put your hands anywhere near wipers/linkage without the ignition off and the keys safely in your pocket.:)

Just looked now and the nut on the arm is tight. All out of ideas so I'll pop in tomorrow. Thanks!
