xbox/wireless router

    hi guys need help

    have f""tcom broadband and purchased a belkin wireless router today, my laptop is working fine, but my son has connected is xbox to the router using an ethernt cable and he can connect to xbox live but every 10mins or so it disconnects

    any ideas

    Not sure but have you tried forwarding the ports required for xbox live?

    check the ip release time.

    You may also want to check the dhcp settings on the xbox. Sometimes you'll find the xbox has a static ip that is in the dhcp range.

    Give the xbox a static ip address quite high in the range and see if that makes any difference?
