Burst Radiators

    I have three radiators that have popped little plugs in the panels, where the fins are attached, Any suggestions for a temporary fix so my heating syustem dosnt drain completely dry as my mains water is also frozen!! Would solder do? Help!!

    You'll need to get those rads replaced.

    Turn off the TRV down to 0, and get a wrench and close the lockshield valve the whole way to stop water circulating through the rad. (clockwise)

    Thanks I'll try that!! I think my system has already drained out!!! I can't efill it anyways untill the pipes thaw!!!:eek:
