4th generation iPod Touch - missing icons

    I have a brand new 4th generation iPod Touch 32gb.

    Put on my music, pics, etc. Download the latest firmware & a few apps.

    Next thing, most of my icons change to blank squares. Help!

    I tried restore, switching on & off etc., etc. Same result.

    This device is literally hours old, and to compound my problem. I've put a

    Zagg Invisible Shield on it. Cost me €18.

    Anyone got any idea what's gone wrong???
