Is there any point in having such a large hard drive?
What can it be used for? Can you save music or videos?

    Thanks in advance.

the PS3 is a really good media server. a 320 would be worth it. Whats the price difference?

I got a 160gb slim for 279€ in powercity, the 320gb will put you back about 330-350€. The HDD in a PS3 is easy to replace and cheap to buy, 2.5 sata laptop HDD. Which Sony encourage you to upgrade without voiding your warranty. So if you need more space, just get a 500gb HDD which are cheap and stick it in yourself!:)

Go for the cheaper option. You can always buy a HDD to upgrade to more memory if you so wish. Easy to do too and it'll save you money too by going that route.
