I have a keen interest in meteorology and keep a close check on the outdoor temps. etc.-- esp. in the last few weeks.

I recorded a lowest (for me) temp. of -10.2C at 7.10am on my outdoor weather station. last night/this morning.

I'm in Caherdavin. Anyone else make any observations?

    John.

Sounds sort of like the Amazon Basin figures you have there, :)

What weather station are you using?

I just got a Davis Vantage Vue http://www.vantagevue.com/

    and I love it.

i'm guessing that was very far west, somewhere with high ground like Barna or where the Mullaghareirk Mountains cross into south west Limerick? The coldest it got where i live was -12 last night.
