Anyone with more knowledge than me be able to say if it's likely there'll be many games on? I would've thought once there's little or no snow around the undersoil heating should do that job.

It'll depend on the conditions outside the stadiums moreso than the pitches themselves.

I'd be fairly hopeful that a lot of the matches will go ahead this weekend. There's a pitch inspection at midday tomorrow for the Blackpool-Liverpool match.

I am drooling for Arsenal - Chelsea.

Sears starts for West Ham  This confuses me. As far as I know, the lad hasn't scored a senior professional goal for any side since his debut for us in March 2008 (phantom goal for Crystal Palace against Bristol City aside).

And we go one down  Bye bye Avram.

Anyone else think that upon is an english equivalent of Richard Dunne a poor one all right but he always reminded me of him with the odd calamity.

I bet Hammer Archer just danced around the house!

Talk about daylight robbery. West Ham have been pathetic for most of the game and they lead.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

    Criminal defending from Salcido

    LOL to quote the Grauniad

Half-time thought: There is a strong case, regardless of the result of this match, of sacking both managers after this game. These two teams must be odds-on to be relegated along with Birmingham.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 11,465 Mod ✭✭✭✭Hammer Archer

Jaysus how are we winning this? I'd be very surprised (and delighted) if we don't concede again.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,445 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Just backed Fulham at 10/1 ftw. Fancy they will get back into it.

Huge result for Hammers, thats 2 wins in 18 now for Sparky....next boss to get the chop?

Maybe it was just because most of the crowd was hungover and it was early, but I thought the atmosphere in that match was shocking. Even when Fulham were winning.

There were more cheers for the away team too.

Not sure why Sears got MOTM, the only person who showed real class today was Scott Parker.

hopefully we might nab parker in the window , god knows we've been trying for a few transfer windows now.

I thought Sears was excellent to be honest. Parker, Stanislas and Green, whose one handed save right after our third goal was amazing and probably won us the game, were all great as well.
Kovac still troubles me though. On to another victory against Everton hopefully to kick start our recovery.

Newcastle down 1-0 after 1 minute, silly mistake from Krul. I think Newcastle have a chance to get back into this, their team looks fairly strong.

good man pardew , thats the start of it now for him! 0-2:eek:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

In fairness, you can hardly blame Pardew for that.

    Who's scored for city?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

    Barry, then Tevez.

    Nearly 3-0. Tevez dominant.

2-0 to Wigan already. Bad news for Mick McCarthy.
