    Hi All, I hope this is in the correct place;

    I'm a 49 year old male, over the last two years I've quit smoking, managed to stabilize my cholesterol levels which were at high risk, and am now running around 20 miles a week.

    I'm healthier and fitter than I've been since my 20's but there's still work.

    I'm not really a "type A" but I tend to be "energetic", people think i'm in a hurry. I do tend towards a short fuse when I'm impatient.

    Basically I really want to work on relaxing and introducing more calm into my life and I'm looking for a medditation program to help me with that. I'm really not on a spiritual quest which is why I post here.

    Transcendental Meditation seems to be the standard course to take but I'd be really interested in other opinions or ideas about alternatives.

    Thanks in advance.
