    Yup, should be a setting once your in the internet app. Go to (off the top of my head), Options via the left soft key, then you should have an options for Settings. There is something in there that will ask you what connection method you want each time you connect.

    The software vodafone have on it may not allow the APN to be deleted, but if you give vodafone a call they should be able to turn off GPRS from their end
