    Trying to ID some birds using Birdwatch Ireland.

    Correct on all, the last bird is Redwing and the gulls are winter plumage black headed gulls

    Ah-ha, the one bird I didn't check on the thrushes page. Thanks Feargal.

    Also spotted a Heron and Cormorant/Shag, but were too far out to get any shot.

    I've been feeding the birds the last few days and watching away but spotted 3 buckos this morning, never saw them before... slightly smaller than a thrush, not as stocky, black with tiny golden spots on wings and back, orange longer beak than a thrush or blackbird. Orangish legs. They came and left in a gang of 3...not being intimidated by the blackbird trying to chase them off. Couldn't get a photo. Any ideas?
