Has anyone tried the very fat putter grips?
If so did they work - keep your hands quieter.

My putting got worse this year but after some practice I think I've sorted it out. I now have a very light grip and no hand action - I'd like to try the fatter grips as I think that would help to keep my hands quiet.

Has anyone tried these grips for their wedges as I can get a bit handsy and flicky.

Asked my pro to put a thicker grip on a new Scotty Caemeron putter I bought in August as the original was too think and I was also flicking. The larger grip ruined the balance of the putter - all the weight was in the head. I was in Foregolf at a custom fit in early Oct and mentioned my putter woes to the fitter. Ended up importing a 25g large grip and fitting it for €20. Putter is working sweet now...or was before this cold snap started.

So you noticed the difference.....what make of grip did you eventually go for?

I have an Odessey putter that I bought late last year. The grip that it came with was always too small and I found I'd way too much wrist action so changed it for this grip

There's a huge difference. Firstly, unlike with madds, I found the putter head became much lighter. I have big hands and found that I was able to grip the putter in such a way as to minimise wrist action while also strike the ball confidently. It took some tweaking because I found there were certain positions I could put my hands that resulted in less movement but my putting has definitely improved (it's still not great by any means) and there's no way I'd go back to a thin grip.

I've had a two-thumb grip on a couple of putters and not a fan. As Madds says, totally ruins the weight of the putter. Not for me.

Ooops....error in my post yesterday. Fixed above.

This one is very similar to the one I bought although my one is lighter at 25 grams....linky

there is one called a super stroke that goes on by allen key so you can play around with different lengths or swap it around different putters.

i think you have to glue it for comp ?
