Im currently in the strand and plan on jumping ship soon enough as i cant get things done due to lack of equipment. So heres the options im looking at and any info like type of free weights and prices would be helpful.Olympic Gold across from donkey fords,Dominator gym cathedral road i think upper William Street, Grove Island Corbally and JJBs Childers Road.I basically just need a place to bench squat and deadlift any info would be grateful thanks.

For all of the 5 times i went to JJB thought it was fairly good. There's a lot of weight equipment there along with free weights.

JJB has a Squatting rack and plenty of benching options. However they're lacking in powerlifting mats/areas. Not sure where people powerlift in there

UL has a good powerlifting area

JJB does get quite busy in the evenings , especially 5.30/6 - 8/8.30, the free weights will be pretty busy and the treddies/CTs will be all pretty taken up. But, tbh those are the busy times for most gyms. Lunchtime and morning times are good enough. Same as any gym really. Give them a buzz about prices, i know that come Jan, current price offers that have been on for a few months are going up again so new memberships will be more expensive.
