Frozen pipes... again

Any ideas on how I can get the water back in my house. I've managed to get the water pipe coming from our well defrosted right up to just a few feet away from where it enters the house. Unfortunately it runs under a concrete path for a run of about ten feet just here and it's frozen solid here. Any ideas for thawing this out? I've tried everything from pushing a steel wire up the pipe and poring hot water down the pipe, both a waste of time.

If I can't get this section of the pipe thawed out I had another idea. My question is it possible to get a fitting to join the 1/2 inch heavy gauge pipe coming from my well to an ordinary garden hose so I can at least run that through the house and upstairs to fill the tank in my attic. That way at least I'll have water in the bathrooms. Thanks in advance.

Friend of mine used a blowlamp or blowtorch and it worked on the concrete :D

Light a small fire on the concrete above the pipe.
