Anyone else working Christmas day?

I'm working on my own on Christmas Day.
Goes with the job I'm afraid. So if anybody else is working too I'd be glad to have a natter.
Its gonna be a loooong day.
So tune in for a chat even if your not working tune in and tell me about the ball your having....:(:(

I'll be working Xmas Eve, Xmas night and Stevens night, all 12hr shifts, volunteered for it.

Hate Christmas, and the triple time plus 8hrs for Xmas Day, and Double +8 for Stephens day more than makes up for it

Off christmas day but working all the rest including new year's eve. Like having christmas day off but cant stand new year's eve and dont mind working it at all. If im finished work by midnight on new year's eve, I will be off home. No way I am going out, determind this year.

Yep, working Christmas day but only for 4 hours and there will be others around, I think of it as a chance to spend a few hours with friends for the holiday

6 hours today, 6 hours tomorrow, 9 hours on Sunday...never mind, at least no traffic jam in the morning;)

Nope. Did it when i worked in a bar in New York for a few years and hated it. Would'nt dream of doing it here. Not back in until the 4th of January.:)

Worked today and then have to do tomorrow and sunday and then some nights during the week... All 12hr shifts.


Christmas and news years have been falling on my shift pattern for the last 4 years...

Hi. OP here. On since 8 to 8pm. I tell ya, its not bad at all. Nobody around. Found myself a lovely leather sofa and got nearly 3 hours sleep.:D

I'm now phoning EVERYBODY on my mob list. Company phone mind you.;)

And the icing on the cake? Treble Time + 8 hrs. Fcuk it. I'm just saying to myself, its just Saturday.

I'd like to wish all you AH mob a happy christmas day. You've shortened many a night for me and made me laugh out loud. thanks for that.:)
