Hi there,

I'm hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction. I have been asked to help create a local business directory in my town. Does anyone know of any good local business directories either here or in the UK. Essentially, I want to have a look at a few different directories that work. When I mean 'work', I mean businesses are easy to find and that people actually use that particular site to find what they are looking for in their local community.

I would appreciate any help or directions.

You could do a search in this forum and the web design/website reviews forums using the keywords: classifieds directory listings. There should be a good bit of info there to help you on your way.
