When to book flights?

Does anyone know from experience, is it best to book flights the end of December or the start January? I'm going to Jordan and flights have dropped €30 today but I'm afraid if I book they'll go down more in the new year and if I dont book they'll go up. Oh, the problems of a traveler! ps for those who dont know Ryanair…

ps for those who dont know Ryanair always have a huge seat sale the first 5 days of each month for the following two months. Lets hope that continues in the new year too:D
