Just wondering what a custom fitting consists of. Do you try different brands, different shafts(steel, graphite)? Could you get a custom fitting and purchase elsewhere? Do they check irons and woods?

Have some vouchers to use and would like a new set of irons to do me for the next 10 years(have my current starter ones that long). Only playing regular for a year cut by 5 shots to 18 on general play(handed in some society cards), is it worth my while geting a custom fitting at my standard?

If you pay €100 for an hours fitting session, they'd bloody want to give you the info.

I just booked a session for my father. I booked the session, that was it. It's none of their business whether I want to buy now or later.

I got fitted in foregolf in naas recently and it cost me a €100 for an hour. You can get it for €50 for half an hour but the hour is best as they go through all your clubs in your bag. You'll hit your own and they will see how you hit them and work from there. Diff shafts, heads etc.. Well worth the money. You will then get a read out form the computer to say what shaft, make of club best suits you.. I was using a Taylormade R7 superquad driver and ping i3 blade and now have cleveland driver and irons. Had a choice of the cleveland or a callaway but preferred the cleveland. Hitting driver super and irons pretty well but still have get used to the irons as weather has been ****ty. hope this helps.

I got fitted with them 2 weeks ago. There brilliant. I will answer this as you type in so it will be in order!

Yes you do try different brand, and different shafts. First you try out your own clubs and they stick impact stickers on them most of the time and then they give you their clubs and different shafts and see what the improvemement is. For 1oo euro they check through your whole bag and this session goes on for 1 hour. You are given a tech sheet and then as far as I Know you can get them made elsewhere but it is better to get them made by them in my opinion. And you dont have to be any standard as they say it is for anybody!

    Hope this helps.
