    Hi

Can anyone give me an idea how much it would cost to get a clutch and timing belt done on a 96 1.8 toyota celica.
All second hand parts where possible

    Thanks a mill

Second hand parts for this would be a false economy. Timing belts wear down and you would need to fit a new belt as that is the only way you would know what milage is on it. You might be able to get a second hand clutch, but it would cost you more in taken out of a crashed car than buying and fitting a new one.

    Yep. Fit new parts.

Best place to get a quote for fitting is a garage.

I did say second hand where possible, know that i'd need a new timing belt but figured a clutch might be ok second hand :)
Bronsontb is this just for parts? my car's 96 so it's barely worth €1000 am i crazy putting this sort of money into it?
