Okay I know this is my own fault...

I've been out since 6~ o clock yesterday, ended up in diceys with the 2 euro drinks ... 7 this morning fell asleep, woke up at 8 for work..

So here I am, not hungover.. But drunk, very drunk.. I need sleep but it's not a possibility until I finish work.. Leaving early isn't going to happen.

I thought it'd be a good idea to grab a red bull to wake me up, almost insta-vomited from the reminder of jager bombs about 5 hours ago...

Please, somebody give me some good advice to help me through this, I've never felt as bad in my whole life... PS: anyone else in this state? It is Crimbo, afterall.

Drink water , water and more water. Then go to a toilet cubicle and just take random ten minutes here and there and just sit in there.

Oh God.... I do find that orange lucozade sport is about the only thing that makes me feel half normal. I could recommend a few other things but you'd probably get escorted off the premises if you tried them.
    Have you had any coffee?

Lucozade always seems like a great idea at the time, and initially it's really refreshing. But halfway through the bottle it goes flat, you feel sticky and disgusting, your lips go fluorescent orange and you end up feeling worse than before you touched the sugary sh*t.

Tis the season to be hungover!

How many hours sleep did you get? What time do you finish work? If you can, go out for hair of the dog at lunch. The first drink will be tough. Choke it back. Second drink for the road. Then you'll be laughing :)

Put two tablespoons of sugar, a teaspoon of salt & two solpadine tablets into a pint of water & drink it off fast.
Take a power nap in the jacks for ten minutes.
Go for lunch & eat something greasy 7 full of carbs. Go for another nap.
    Drink loads of water.
    Go for another power nap.
    Pretend to do some work.
    Go for another power nap.
    Have some more water.
Go for another nap & then go home.

The water & naps are very important for your survival.

Go do your work. If you are still drunk at this hour you would be what is known in the pub business as a lightweight. If so, go get sick, drink lucozade sport and try to look interested in what you're doing in work.

    2 painkillers for the pain
4 vitamin tablets for the boost
Rasher sandwich (or lots of salty crisps) to help you retain water
    Chocolate for the mood
Lucozade hydra for the hydration and energy
    Andrews antacid for the stomach

Works everytime. Should feel better within an hour.

You should dance with your boss. She told me she wants the ride for Christmas... Go get her kid!

Stage an accident in work. Perhaps cut off a finger in a door if you're in a office, or dip your testicles into the deep fat frier if you're in a chipper.

I'm a good hard worker and I'm flat out 95% of the time... But I think a person is allowed to come in; in this state at least once over the holidays :(

    Why do you think that?
Do you think your boss would think that?

PS: Thanks for some great suggestions, I'm not exactly in the mind to think right now! Breakfast roll in order me thinks :pac:

Oh op i was in your position last week. It's horrific. I nearly started crying quietly at my desk i felt so pathetic and tired and worn out.

Just look forward to this evening, it'll be the best feeling in the world when you get in the door home and fling yourself on the couch with a nice blanket with an array of junk food around you and a chinese on the way.

Ha, the naiveness of that. You must be a public servant:D

Not the fizzy stuff now, the already flat stuff.
Of course a crap load of water is probably better though.

    Alright, good call.

You'll forgive my confusion as about 90% of Lucozade's line of drinks is some hue of orange.

The irony of this statement is pretty good.

    Naive:
    Lacking worldly experience and understanding

You need to take a good solid shite. Lock yourself into the bathroom and push her out like a trapped chilean miner. Only through putting all your remaining strength into this epic dump will you crap out your hangover successfully.

I work in the private sector and I pull the piss on a daily basis.

A good dump (as Bollocko said) and possibly a hungover danger **** as well to relieve tension.

Plenty sh1t food and liquid. Avoidance of any type of work is a must.

Walk around with a folder or piece of paper in your hand and look too busy to talk to anyone. Do this back and forth to the jacks all day. Use alternate jacks if available as this may look a bit suspect going into the same jacks all the time.

No worries...the fizzy one would probably just make you a million times worse. :o
