    Hi all,

My fiance and I are getting married next year and she wants the word "love" spelt out on the top table in block letters. I had the bright idea of trying to get them for her as an Xmas present but time is running out!

Anyone know where I could get these in Dublin?

    Thanks,

    D.

Childrens toy shops are your best bet.

Mamas and Papes in Dundrum used to stock them, as did the one in Blanchardstown.Call to check.

You could try Early Learning Centre in Dundrum too, or I think there's also one in Henry St.

I saw a load of book-end letters in Stephen's Green S.C. either in The Banana Tree or else the shop directly opposite it (on the first floor on the side of the main entrance). They were loads of different letters so they may have LOVE. They were pretty nice too - kind of wrought metal. Worth popping in if you're around the area.

    Thanks for all the suggestions.

FYI - didn't get them yet but have found out that there is a wood carver in the Powerscourt Centre that specialises in letters so we may be getting him to do them for us.

Its been playing on my mind since first seeing this post as I saw them in a clients house not too long ago too. You know when you have the image in your head but you just cant place it, my sister in law has them on her counter top saying cook, they are lovely, I found this site http://www.craftcuts.com/ that does the letters. Maybe check the home and garden forum and see if any decor enthusiasts know where to get them.

Also only saw them yesterday, Inspiring Ideas in Blanchardstown have the whole alphabet, bout 4 inches high, white but look like you could paint them (kind of a canvas cover on them)
