is it just me or are tv3 overdoing the snow "crisis" a bit?? they extended there 6.30 bulletin and then at 8.30 they had a half hour "crisis" show. now we have all had the snow and we all have to deal with it but it was like the president had been shot or something(God forbid). And then you had alan cantwell stabding outside dublin airport like a drowned rat in the snow. Come on like, what would happen if we had 2 weeks of solid snow!

Seems to me TV3 over do things generally. I have been tuning in to the 5.30 bulletin for the past few months (waiting for the 6one news on RTE1, normally flick the button just before that buffoon King comes on to do the weather, even the angleus is more interesting)

I just find this stations news coverage Plastic in the extreme, it reminds me of cheap under funded American local TV stations. Cantwell appears to want to be anywhere but a TV3 studio or broadcast, Brian O Donavon reminds me of a toy robot with the most bizarre body movements to emphasis a point and the hysterical Ursala halligan getting into a tizzy with excitable pronouncements live from the dail, most of which are either incorrect or widely off the mark, its just Bizarre to watch.

The recent snow has only given tv3's intrepid reporters more of nothing to do. Cantwells live report from the airport last night was hilarious although he did manage to annoy the arrogant Siobhan Moore from the DAA, although any criticism of her organization upsets this arrogant cow.

Fair enough, the snow is news but Christ all mighty talk about going over the top, particularly one reporter Geraldine Linahan "correct me if i am wrong", but this gal needs an urgent dose of nasal spray.

Is maith an scáthán súil charad.

TV3 are definitely going overboard on the scale of the whole thing, and its rubbing off onto the public too!

The amount of idiots I see walking around with "Snow Walking Sticks" makes me sick with disgust. Its a bit of snow ffs you're walking in St Stephens Green not climbing f*cking Everest!

NO! It was worth it all to hear that woman say "No more wishing for a White Christmas!"

Now with THAT out of the way I want to take it a step further and NO More Christmas. If we did NOT have Christmas we would have NO crisis.

Tv3 is a tabloid station. You'd have to wonder where they picked up some of their newspresenters - cringeworthy

O Christ, that Yawwwwn O Neill is such a condescending wanker, Christ he seems to think Irish people are stupid, he's been going on & on & on skirting the issue that the NRA quite simply ****ed up and did not order enough Salt, all we are told its on it's way. It's bad enough the NRA being incompetent but to have that arse hole representing their incompetence is Irritating beyond normal acceptance levels!

If it didn't snow in Dublin, TV3 wouldn't give two hoots about the "crisis"

Not that i would dare defend this useless collage of ****e, to be fair Gerome having recently returned from TV3's absurd homelessness documentary found time to do a report from wicklow and monaghan no less in the past few days!
