PS3 Controller problems

My ps3 controller is acting up.It only works when I have the charging Cable plugged into it.When I remove the cable it switches off then when I try to turn it on all the 4 small lights flash slowly.It's fully charged.Any advice.

It sounds like the battery is no longer holding a charge and you will need a new battery pack http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.13314
