downstairs toilet cistern not filling

    Our downstairs toilet is not filling the other 2 toilets in the house are working fine the tank in attic filling fine. Im guessing it is some sort of frozen pipe causing problem the downstairs toilet always very cold even though a radiator in the room. Does anyone know if this could cause further problems or if there is anything I can do. I havent a clue about anything like this so hoping someone might have some pointers.

    is the downstairs toilet mains fed? have u cold water at the kitchen sink?

    The cold tap in kitchen working fine last year our mains froze but this year only problem seems to be downstairs toilet

    Your tank in the attic is probably frozen. If you put a bulb or a heater in the attic you may free it out. No direct heat , just gentle heat and you should be okay. Just fitted an infra red bulb in my attic and it has managed to thaw out mine. But if you don't have a socket up there, put an extension lead and a protected electric heater or a strong bulb and it may sort out your problem.:D
