Information on Repairing battery operated Gallagher Electric Fencer

Does anyone have any information on how to test and repair a battery operated Gallagher Electric Fencer?

My brother's electric fence was pulled down by sheep. This pulled over the battery fencer, the cover came off and the whole lot got saturated with rain. It has not worked since and we were hoping to repair it over the winter.

Some parts appear to be available on the internet, but I haven't found anything on repair manuals.

We had a cheetah fence that developed the exact same problem. We brought it back to the co-op that we bought it from and the Cheetah rep fixed it from the back of his van. Cost about €25.

most of the coop's around here send the gallagher fencers to allied repairs on the Kinsale road in Cork, they are next door to the Gallagher shop, if you give them a ring on 021 431 2281 I'm sure they'll sort you out.
